Just Another Evening

from the 'Nolife' Album

10/2/95

(Tune: End of a Century)

There's a disco in Clare Cellars,
A bop on in the Fitzpat
Loads in the bar
And a film on TV.
The ADC is kicking,
The MGM is packed out
Nightclubs open
And Gardi's waiting

But we all say
Just want to be alone
Just sit around and talk
Till half past one
Then get too bored, fed up
And say goodnight
Another evening - oh - It's nothing special.

The juke box, loud and booming
Pool balls on the table
People in the squash courts
And a party in Old Hall.
College bars are open
Everyone is drinking
Formal halls have happened
And they're not all back yet.

Rag events occurring,
Societies are meeting
Squashes in Old Kitchens
And cooking in the gyp rooms
`W' staircase noisy
And an Old Court drinking party
Pub crawl crawling
And drunkards brawling.
