Jive3D is a forward-modelling and tomographic inversion package that is capable of modelling a wide range of seismic travel-time data types. This chapter outlines the approach to tomographic inversion adopted by the package, gives a brief description of the operation of Jive3D at a practical level, and lists the hardware and software required to use it.
