From 1997-2001, I have been a Research Associate in marine geophysics with Professor Robert S. White. My work was concerned with the seismic structure of marine basalt flows and the problem of imaging beneath them: the FLARE project.
As a doctoral student at Stanford, I have investigated the structure of the Earth's crust along the west coast of North America:
The Southern
Sierra Nevada Continental Dynamics project studies the structure and origin
of the Sierra Nevada in California.
The Aleutian Working
Group investigates the creation of new continental crust in the Aleutian
Arc, Alaska.
