Research Interests

I am using various seismological methods, in particular seismic travel time tomography, surface wave dispersion measurements, shear wave splitting measurements and observations of micro-earthquakes to study the Earth. I use both global data and data acquired with temporary regional networks on land and at sea (with ocean bottom instruments). Recently, I have investigated the following processes

• Oceanic Mantle Plumes: Mantle structure beneath Hawaii.
• Dynamic of Mid-Ocean Ridges
• Subduction Processes
